I like the new layout which eliminates some clutter but I miss the drop down menus, like when you highlight 3DS at the top of the site you can go right to Reviews, Games, Message Boards, etc. Now it takes a lot longer to get there. it becomes troublesome to find things like that. It's almost impossible to go to the list of games for a specific category like Wii or 3DS.

Also just as a side note, it would be nice to improve your video player. For instance it would be nice when your watching a video in full screen if the bar at the bottom of the screen would auto hide itself when in full screen mode as well as the mouse or maybe if the was a button on the bar itself that would allow this. Also after a video is done playing the "Esc" button doesnt let you escape out of full screen.

Please redesign your video player or add some features to it like the ability for the time bar at the bottom to auto hide itself after a couple of seconds along with the mouse when in fullscreen (it's not true fullscreen when that bar is always in the way and blocks some of the video). Increase load/buffer speeds. Add ability to select another video from the same page without having to load a whole new page. A better way to increase/decrease volume levels. A whole new redesign would be great but adding some new features would make me happy! :)

I saw that you guys are really listening and adding improvements to the site pretty quickly which is awesome, I noticed that you added a slider menu at the top of the homepage so that we can more quickly navigate the main stories and news at the top, that shows that you really do listen to your fans and viewers of your site (me included) and that you guys really care about what we think ;) (Teardrop)

When I read IGN I open several tabs at a time careful to avoid "Watch!" or "Video" because I want to read other articles first and watch videos when I have more time. However, the problem is that out of nowhere I'll hear a video start to play but not know where it's coming from. I have to go through the tabs to find the video with no indication that the page I clicked on opened an auto-playing video.

I would consider this idea completed if videos didn't autoplay or if all articles that linked to these videos had a disclaimer.

I have been a fan of IGN for a very very long time and I have waited patiently for them to someday add CC (Closed Captioning) or English Subtitles for the Deaf or Hearing Impaired on videos such as interviews, Daily Fix, Conversations, Weekly Wood and etc. We don't need to have CC for video game trailers but it would be nice to have it available. If Youtube, MTV, HULU, Netflix and many other amazing video sites could add the ability to enable/disable CC or English Subtitles then couldn't IGN do it as well? I know IGN can do it. I would really appreciate it because I can't hear well or understand what Naomi Kyle says on the Daily Fix or when Jessica Chobot talks about Mix'D Reviews or Weekly Wood and all. Its very frustrating. There are other deaf or hearing impaired members on IGN and its very frustrating for them. We most read but when we see videos and how IGN members talk about games and etc, it is very frustrating. Please, I hope you can add this feature.. I would really appreciate it.. Thanks.
