How can we improve the future of IGN?

Please Fix the HD Video Playback

Auto-HD is a pain and doesn't really work. Please just let us decide what quality to watch the video in. It works for YouTube and Vimeo. This clicking a button that seemingly does nothing and then waiting for it to randomly decide to switch to HD is annoying and usually only switches halfway through, or right at the end of a video.

And call me silly, but I'm never really sure whether it has HD at all, I sort of click and wait to see what happens. Obviously the player is better than the old monstrosity but if you expect me to come to IGN for videos you have to beat Youtube's player, which isn't very hard.

Can I use all my votes for this one? The cool game videos are a main reason I come to IGN... And this new video player just sucks. Please just use Youtube until you get yours working.

Just watched the Assassin's Creed 3 video. Hit the HD button right at the beginning, and it didn't change at all. Could you please just use the YouTube video player? It works so much better than this current one.

I never had an issue with the old video player. But this new one I never get anything above 360P. the video is crappy. Just use a YouTube player. it actually works.

I think that in general the video player needs some work. Ever since the newest version of the video player got pushed to production it has been buggy. I was actually happy with the previous player. I'm not sure what prompted the web development team to make a new player.
