Bring back e-mail alerts.
Bring back e-mail alerts for games, movies, etc. As much as I like the newfeed, I miss e-mail alerts too. If they are currently available, I can't find them.

My IGN vs E-mail
After or during the Beta testing will you guys give us the option to cancel the e-mails about the games which we like and instead stick with My IGN?
The problem is that My IGN gets updated faster than the mail system. Thus when I click on the link (say the halo clip of the day) in the e-mail it takes me to the whole video section where I see that I have already seen the vid.
To simply put it:
I receive an e-mail saying there's a new vid, but My IGN says it's been up for 2 days.…

spam from gameswatch, unable to disable
i have my ign account from a really long time ago, i'm still receiving email from it but the links to turn off email alerts are broken. please either automatically disable the games watch email mailer or give me a page where i can turn it off.

I want to be able to turn off video emails.
See suggestion, seriously, it's not that detailed. I'm just sick of getting the video round up emails, I've hit unsubscribe about 5 times now. I like the regular news digest email but I am not interested in videos.

To simplify alerts
You should put back the "Envelope icon" system. On movies too. I think it's harder to manage game alerts, now.

A customizable email alert where you choose specific users you wanted to be alerted when they post a new blog post

When a new beta comes out members should be notified by email I lost the opportunity to play diablo 3 open beta hope is wow exp beta goes to open I get a notified email. thank you all
