Issues with deleting or adding games from your collection.
I try to delete games that I am fallowing but the system just keeps putting them back on the list. In some cases it brings them to the top of my list of Games followed.
Needs investigation.

So how long do you guys intend on 'investigating' this?? As it stands, the issue has only gotten worse. Not only does deleting a game seem like a pain in the ass to do, but trying to add one is just as frustrating. To top all that off, my feeds don't even properly update anymore when I do try to add a game.

Not to pile on, but I am now switching to GameSpot since their wishlist/collection/following functionality actually works. In fact it is a revelation of simplicity and clarity. I only wish I would never have paid for Prime. Game list management worked better before I paid and it has gone downhill since I started paying IGN money. I seriously regret buying into to this site.

I'm sorry, does IGN even care anymore? My games list hasn't worked in well over a year and since last August or so, the list won't even come up. All I get is the stupid "Hmm, that's not a game list..." error telling me to refresh the page, which of course does...NOTHING. Either fix this or scrap it. Never had this problem with Club IGN.

I'm just wondering who still uses ign on a regular bases for games, cause, till the update which fuzzed it all up, I was. Nowadays it's a lot if I go to ign once a month.

I'm having this problem too. It's like it isn't contacting the database correctly and is grabbing old entries. It does not seem to be a caching problem because it happens even when I clear my cache regularly. It also takes a while for new games I follow to show up in the list. The games will sometimes alternate between my collection and wishlist.

Good thing I'm not alone in this, but it doesn't matter since the staff here don't want to fix this big problem. it is true... with the game list being a mess ign is useless to me as well. so please get it right already!!!

So, I'm fed up with not being able to use the add/delete game function on my My IGN Account. It's been broken for months and despite many, many user complaints, Steve McBarnes (whose title is, ironically, "community helper person" and whom, allegedly, oversees the request for this function) has remained silent on the topic for many, many months - 6 months, in fact. Way to go Steve. Thanks for caring. Pretty sure I'd get my a** fired if I neglected my customers for 6 months. But then again, maybe I'm just jealous. Nice work if you can get it. Where do I sign up?
Anyway, without this function, My IGN is useless to me, so, I thought I'd go ahead and delete my My IGN Account. Well, it's not possible I found out. And just how did I find this out, you ask? Let me tell you, its wasn't easy. This is, apparently, secret squirrel, special hand-shake information. I scoured the Customer Service Portion of the IGN website and this info is no where to be found. Ah, but it gets better. When I went to send the good people at IGN an email asking for instructions on how to delete my My IGN Account, I discovered that a person actually needs to create another account (no, no, no, you can't use your My IGN Account user name and password, don't be absurd) in order to have the privilege of sending said email. Yup, true story.
It was Erica McFarland (Assistant Manager Billing) who responded to my email and advised that "Usernames/Profiles are not able to be deleted. You are welcome to login to your account and edit a fake email address such as adding a .closed to the end of the email address. This will free up the email address for new accounts but this will not delete or change your username."
I responded with "Wow. Ridiculous. Just another reason I've come to really dislike IGN. Nothing personal, Erica, but since you can't help me, can you point me in the direction of someone who can delete my account?"
Well, I haven't heard back. Something I said? I suspect Erica is taking a page out of Steve's book. Or maybe they're the same person. Who knows. All I know is that IGN could give a rat's a** about their customers. Prove me wrong, IGN.
Oh ya, one more tidbit... did you know that IGN is actually short for IGNORANT? Yup, true story.
(By the way, I have tried the game tracking systems on GamesRadar and GameSpot and have found that both work pretty well - I settled on GameSpot. Also, both of these sites allow you to delete your user accounts - I know, right?).

After waiting for a year I give up on this. The system is completely broken now. Previously I could add games through Gamestats website, but not anymore. I'm switching my list to CAG. My IGN subscription wont be renewed. I tried that world of tanks free game promo for IGN insiders and that didnt even work right. I'm fed up!

This section is a mess.
1) Games that I have added aren't showing up. In fact, entire game systems aren't showing up, like the Sega Genesis.
2) My games keep shifting back and forth between "Wishlist" and "Collection", seemingly at random. At the present time, the ability to change it isn't even there. There is no way to select either option.
3) If a game I just added is at the bottom of my list, I can't add a score. The browser cuts off the selection where the "Submit" button is. Pressing Enter does not make it submit. I've tried tabing over to the button, it doesn't work. I've tested this for Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. They all have the same problem.These are serious annoyances, not small little problems. The whole system is buggy and barely works.

It's still impossible to delete games. Why is it taking so long? It makes using this site and updating a hassle.

I still can't remove games from my collection! They just keep reappearing, no matter how many times I remove them! How am I supposed to manage my game collection online if I can't remove games I no longer own?
