  Think it would need to have three options as you could have played somthing but then sold it on?

  i play many games, some reviews say it "sucked", even when i didn't play those games yet. that a great idea.

  I really want this idea. I have rated some games that I thought sucked and it bugs me that there is a little check mark in the own or wishlist box for them lol. I want a box that says played. And another one that says HATED.

  Agreed. GameStop's PowerUp Rewards page has this, and it gives a better picture of many gamers' experiences.

  I think a "played" checkbox added as KrisKerwin suggests would take care of this option just fine.

  I love how this is 14th ranked with over 200 votes but it's still not planned.

  There should also be an option for 'used to own/completed' etcetra

  Exactly! I liked the previous "played" checkbox. I loved to have a list of all games I completed, but I don't own all of them. I also own games that I didn't even play. It's a shame this suggestion is not "planned" yet. I really hope it will.

  the wanting of such category is just braggadocio.

  marking games as owned or wanted should be so you can keep tabs on updates and/or access information about such games.

  This is a good idea. I try not to buy every game I play and instead borrow from friends. Some of my friends use gamefly. If I see lots of people renting and not owning a game, that's a big indicator that I may want to do the same.

  Yep, I've got lots of games I once owned that I no longer have as well as all the games I've rented and play to a significant extent or completed.

  I think Games Played makes more sense. cause if we get into semantics it will end up being... games played\rented\begged\borrowed\stole\...

  I hardly rent anymore, but it's a nice feature none the less.
