Make an option to follow developers/studios/publishers in addition to individual titles
In case there's a new game or movie announced or the like that is made by one of my followed developers or publishers, it should be on my news feed.

You could expand this and have members of the organizations IGN accounts on their page and perhaps a feed from them integrated to the overall accounts feed? Again making it easier to find user you want to follow!

Could work well if it was tied into the developer's twitter, otherwise I dunno how many developers would give regular updates...

This would allow to hear about games we didn't know. So far, we have to know the game first (which requires to read every IGN information all the time or to use another website) to then be able to follow it.
For example, I really would like to follow all Team ICO, BioWare or David Cage news.
