How can we improve IGN.com?

German IGN redirect

stop redirecting to German IGN from Switzerland. I'm from the French side of Switzerland and I don't speak German. Why does going to www.ign.com redirects me to de.ign.com with no way to switch back ot English ? The only way I found was to go to one of the subdomains like 360.ign.com which doesn't redirects.

That's reeeeally bad design and stops your readers to access your site. Please change this ASAP. Thanks

        I AM from germany but I don't want to visit the german site when I'm visiting ign.com or uk.ign.com. If I'd like to visit the german site I would enter its url...

        Yeah, also: Just because I live in the german speaking part of Switzerland and actually am able to speak german doesn't mean I want german websites. They exist too, you know? I'd go there if I wanted that.
        For heaven's sake, I've set everything I can on my side to use English (UK) just to make sure I get everything in it's original language. Your german site is nowhere near as useful still, so why on Earth would I want that?
        And now I can't even use uk.ign.com directly anymore as you've "fixed" that too...

        I'm in Ghana and I'm also getting the German redirect. This is an English speaking country. Fail..

        I'm also having the same problem as now the time of this writing. I just go to pc.ign.com and then click US on the top in order to the ign main homepage. kinds of a hassle but at least we can still go to the homepage!

        I live in Sweden and i want to access the US/Uk edition of ign, but i don't got any choice as i get redirected to the Swedish version of the site no matter what i do!! I don't want to change my settings and use proxys/open dns/vpn just to access the english version of the site! Why cant i choose for my self? Why do ign feel the need to decide at what website i should read?

        I am from asia. It would be reasonable for the language to be chinese, japanese, or something. But to be german? -_-

        Same happened here, Denmark, and only 20% of the population have an idea how it is and 5% can speak it...

        Canadian user here and I get directed to de.ign.com as well... very much annoying.

        I'm in Canada and it keeps redirecting me to de.ign.com. I clearly don't speak German. This is a big issue, there's no point in having a website if nobody can access it.
